A protest against the sharp 30 cents of petrol price hike will be jointly organized by opposition parties and non-governmental organizations on:

Venue: In front of Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC, Jalan Ampang

We call on all concerned citizens to join the protest against the unreasonable price hike, which is another outrageous example of how the government is so willingly squadering the fund of Petronas to bail out its cronies and build white elephant mega projects such as Putrajaya while conveniently shifting the burden to the rakyat!

While the profit of Petronas increased by almost 50% following the rise of oil price globally, it's accounts remains shrouded in secrecy. We demand the government to open the books of Petronas for public scrutiny.
