Tamil film to be shot in Sg Buloh

FILMING of Malaysia’s second Tamil feature film Chemman Chaalai (Tamil for dirt road) will begin in the Sungai Buloh area next week. 

This period film examines the struggles of a young girl from a rubber estate who is determined to escape the cycle of poverty that traps her parents, by furthering her studies. 

The 90-minute independent film is a commentary of life in the estates in the past.
